Hi it's me again.
I'm now going to give you the recipe for bean and carrot casseroles.
here are the following ingredients.
Mix and arrange in a buttered oven-proof dish.
2 cups julienne of french-cut green beans
2 cups julienne of french-cut carrots
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup grated onion
1/2 can of diced water chestnuts
poor over this a sauce made of 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 cup of milk, salt to taste, 1/2 a pound of cheddar cheese, melted in.
Top with 3/4 a cup dried bread crumbs and 1/2 a cup of chopped peanuts.
Dot with butter.
Bake 30-45 minutes at 350.
Serves 6
